It was a wonderful Summer for weddings at Chateau de Puissentut, with September being particularly gorgeous. All our couples chose rustic weddings which suited so perfectly the atmosphere here at Chateau de Puissentut, which is neither grand or pompous but is charming and casual. The folly, looking out over the sunflower-filled fields, was the perfect backdrop a wedding blessing, from where it was only a short walk back along the path to the champagne bar to toast the bride and groom. The courtyard looked delightful too decked in home-made bunting and with tables brightened with flowers picked from the garden.
It was a pleasure to team up again with Soren Hawes from Bocal, who prepared several of the wedding feasts, and we're looking forward to working with him more in 2015. We're also delighted to be collaborating with Patricia O'Reilly from Country Weddings in Gascony in the coming year.
